This series was inspired by long walks in Monet’s gardens in France with lush florals everywhere you turn and the beautiful fragrance of roses wafting in through the windows.

I believe strongly that art work should have a sense of place infused into it. You should FEEL the paint ooze the essence of the place from which it was inspired. How do I accomplish this?

This Garden Wall series is created using extra fine artist acrylic paints from Parisian colorists Charvin and Sennelier, who also created art supplies for famous artists like Monet and Renoir.

I also created my own plant-based acrylics using earth pigments from France.

I hope this painting inspires your walls to bloom just like the gardens of Giverny where Monet once walked.
