Hear directly from professionals representing multiple sides of the art fair jury process. Panelists:
Ben Cooney: As the Co-Founder and Director of Homespun Events, Ben can speak to the jury process for Minneapolis Sculpture Garden Art Fair, Minnehaha Falls Art Fair, City of Lakes Art Fair, and the Minnesota Merry Market.
Lara Cornell: Lara is the author of two international best-selling books on building businesses for artisans and artists. As the Executive Director for the Eagan Art Festival, she brings valuable perspective on what juries look for in a strong artist application.
Joy O'Conner: Joy founded EarthenJOY Ceramics in 2013. She will share her journey of not being accepted to several art fairs, seeking constructive feedback, refining her application, and ultimately returning to those same events to earn acceptance and award recognition.
